Men’s Ministries

New Life Men’s ministry follows the principal’s found in the Assemblies of God Honor Bound ministry.
Reach – Creating environments and opportunities to reach men with the Message of hope, the Reach strategy seeks to connect men to a relationship with Christ.

Teach – Purposed to building men as they grow in their walk with the Lord, many groups will have a different approach, strategy or concept. The idea is to consistently encourage one another as ‘iron-sharpens-iron’ and always in training for the game plan God has given us through His Word.

Release – The Release Strategy leads and sends men for service to God, to the church and to the community. It is releasing men to live out their God-given purpose.

New Life Sherwood Men’s Group

We are about helping men walk in and fulfill the destiny God has for them.

“When I think of the word Agape I often time think of the Men’s Group at New Life Assembly in Sherwood. Monday’s Men’s Meeting is my favorite night of the week. My life has forever changed with the experiences I have had with the men in this group. It’s a place I can go to discuss any issue I may be facing. The Men are very supportive, kind and non judgmental. Whether I am there for the camaraderie or in need of guidance and prayer it is a place where I am safe. This is a place where you can share your burdens with other men who can relate and pray for reparation and healing, and it happens. I have seen Men successfully overcome issues that they couldn’t have on their own. I have seen Men physically healed while being prayed for. This is truly a time of peace and all men of any age or background can benefit from being there and stay grounded in the principles of the Bible as they relate to a man’s everyday life.
