  • Larry and Terrie Pursel – Senior Pastors
Pastor Larry and Terrie Pursel have been at Sherwood New Life since the summer of 2012. Both feel strongly that while the message of the Gospel never changes, the manner in which it is presented should be ever changing. They want to make sure New Life is relevant to the community of Sherwood. They have two boys, Trevor and Connor, who keep them young and active! Pastor Larry holds a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership, while Terrie holds a Bachelor’s degree with the same major. They love working with people and pointing them to a walk with Jesus Christ.
  • Arlen and Nora Peacock – Lifespring Leader

Arlen and Nora Peacock serve as leaders for Lifespring (Seniors Ministry) with an added emphasis on Families and Prayer. Arlen is a teacher and author, and Nora is a musician and is fluent in American Sign Language.

The Peacocks have been married for 40 years and have seven children and a number of grandchildren.

  • Andrew and Lisa Lavier – Young Adult / Young Married Couples Ministry

Andrew and Lisa Lavier lead the Young Adult and Young Married Couples ministries of New Life Church. The Young Adult group serves young people from post high school to 30. Andrew and Lisa have been married 8 years and are proud parents of two wonderful children: Audrey and Liam.

    • Jeremy and Kara Young – Kids and Youth Ministry

Jeremy and Kara Young love and serve our kids and youth. Kara Young is a licensed Pastor in the A.G. while Jeremy is going to college with the goal to become a Pastor.

Kara is our Children’s Pastor while Jeremy is our Youth leader. They partner together helping serve and teach in both ministries as they help build a solid biblical foundation for New Life Kids and the youth of Evermore.
Both of them are passionate about radically serving Jesus. Their desire is that every child and youth would know what new life in Jesus means so that they would help spark a love revolution to become world changers.
